Recently, I have been experiencing a lot of difficulty breathing. It has affected my work, one way or the other. I have not gone through a doctor because I am so afraid of what he will say, that I maybe seriously sick.A year ago, I was hospitalized because of high blood pressure and ever since, I had been nervous to see a doctor. How can I overcome this? I know and I am sure that I need help.

Go see the doctor.

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.

Why not question something for a change?

Go see your board certified medical doctor.

Hiding from a condition only makes it worse.

Is suffering in ignorance better than talking to a doctor?

While some of us here work in the medical industry, we are not MDs and could not diagnose over the internet if we were.

I agree. There are several things that could be wrong, but not fixing it isn't the answer.
Go and see the doctor.

Hello MerryDean, just like I was too scared to see a doctor but when I finally did it turned out that it's nothing really serious. Overcome your fear because it's much scarier to know that there's really something wrong and that you're too late to alleviate it.

Thanks everyone for your replies. Turns out that my cholesterol is elevated. I have been on medication and trying to eat and live more healthy. I am fine now but still on the look out on my health.
