We have reached a milestone this week. We now have over 1500 likes on our facebook page. Our reach has improved as well.

Interestingly, we come in 6th for science related pages. Of course, we are a distant 6th when you consider the millions who follow IFLS.

Come to think about it, I must be interpreting the numbers incorrectly.

We just passed the 1600 mark, and our reach and "likes" are way up. I haven't asked facebook my friends to "like" the page in ages, so the growth is now organic. People are seeing SFN shares from their friends posts on their newsfeeds. The "pageviews are getting rather amazing.

Congratulations! To all those who work to make this happen.

We've hit over 1800 likes on our SFN Facebook page. Actually, were sitting at 1792 likes + 15 this week. So I'd say we hit 1800 even if FB is slow to update. FB also says we have 1735 follows. I'm not exactly sure what that means but it could be that out of the 1800 those people are actively following us. It also makes me happy that Richard Saunders and David Gorski "liked" us recently. So did Susan Gerbic.

Anyhow, we seem to pick up about 1000 a year. We'd have more if we posted to the page more often. Besides myself, I do have a couple of other people doing that, but their contributions are sporadic. If there is anyone here interested in posting interesting skeptical articles, cartoons and that sort of thing to the page, let me know. I could use the help.
