I'm wondering how "No Schooling" can qualify as "Home Schooling". When home schooling is no schooling. This should provide some entertainment this week.

There should be plenty of jobs which are minimum-wage with no skills required for them to do.
How about picking cotton or something?
Waiting on tables requires basic math- and reading-skills, but bust-boys and dish-washer should work? Or TSA.

And other skills. As experienced and technically qualified as I am in my current job, I would totally sux at being a waiter.

This is child abuse, and should be treated as such.

Are those skills that are taught in schools?

But I totally get where you're coming from.

It sure is a very irresponsible thing to do to your own children but the parents don't see it that way. Predicting how they will earn an income is speculative from anyone that is for sure. They could easily end up being preachers and do better than anyone of us making a living being in such a fertile country and state for that matter, with a abundance of gullible and willing victims for that occupation. States that don't should establish minimum standards applicable to all school aged children is what it comes down to and apply it to ALL students in primary and secondary schooling. States failing to require any minimum standards is how this is allowed to occur.
