Those of us who have been around skepticism and pseudoscience for a while might already be familiar with the whacky idea of E-rays, or earth radiation. They have been a big thing in Germany for a long time, and there is a market for various items to protect you from their supposed effects, like special blankets that go on the mattress, or maybe under the bed (I haven't bothered to waste my time researching the intricacies of such lunacy), that shield you from the radiation.
Well, driving along in Toronto a couple of weeks ago I noticed a minivan with the following URL on the back window: earthradiationdefense.com Overcoming a temporary revulsion at the Americanised spelling of 'defence' (HARUMPH! This is Canada!), my next thought was "Yeah, 99% sure what this is about." Checking the web site when I got home confirmed my suspicions; that damned Earth radiation is responsible for all sorts of maladies, including, of course, CANCER!
Okay, go have fun with the site yourself, I'm enjoying a lovely whisky which does not want to be curdled with such rubbish. But as if to underline the absurdity of the whole thing, here's the kicker: I pulled alongside the vehicle, because I have a morbid fascination for looking into the face of stupidity. The less irony-challenged amongst you may already guess what I saw: Yes, the passenger was smoking. Double face-palm, head-desk, shake head, all the WTF? descriptors you can think of.
Enjoy: http://earthradiationdefense.com/

Enjoy: earthradiationdefense.com | I am shocked - shocked I tell you - that such a fine, up-standing Canadian citizen has so shaky a grasp of basic physics and biology. |

This guy is nuts. Why would God create a planet that is harmful for us to live on? |

Snapping turtles are huggable pets, and people add arsenic to their tea for flavor. Since there is absolutely nothing harmful to humans in or on this planet, "earth radiation" must be a myth. |

earthradiationdefense.com's "mitigations" strikes me as a pseudoscience version of Feng Shui.

The difference is that Feng Shui practitioners actually buy into that nonsense. This guy is just trying to make money. |

Feng Shui isn't pseudoscience, it's dogma and magical thinking.
And I updated http://HarmonyOrbs.com to include protection from Earth radiation, geopathic zones, and any other radio radiation.
