The Center for Inquiry also belongs in the "once good, now not-so-much" category. It's incredible what they seem willing to do in defense of Lord Dawkins.
(On the flip side, I may have to take Hemant Mehta out of this category. He got in there back in the ElevatorGate days, but seems to have learned something since then.) |

Yup. He used to be compassionate and caring, and he'd trot out real knowledge based on his actual specialty. Not so much anymore, and his response to criticism is an example of the Streisand Effect. |

And this is why I link to good articles and ignore the organization. I have friends who are CFI fellows like Susan Gerbic and her Gorilla Skepticism group, but that's about it.
