Or am I just losing more brain function?
I just wanted to make some tiny grammatical changes in my post but the edit icon is gone.
Or perhaps I have just forgotten since this BB format is different from all the other boards I am on.

| It's actually a pen making a checkmark on a pad of some sort, but yeah, it's the third button from the left in the row of buttons to the right of a post's time and date. |

Whoa, that's it. But I posted without being logged in. Now that is very mysterious.
I am automatically logged in but every few days my son dumps the temp files and I have to hit the 'login' icon again. My name and password stay on the forum page when the temp files are dumped.
The next time he clears the files I'll see what happens when I post. |

OK, here's the test. I just logged out. It appears that since my username and password appear here in the post box heading, I must be able to post, but not edit until logged on.
[edit]Test successful. Apparently I can post but not edit until logged in.
