So what if it is?

And you will make no diference at all because all you have to contribute is blather. This time, you sound rather like the Christian fundies of various stripes. They, having nothing but fantasy with which to argue, claim that evolution is a religion. With practice and rehearsal, you and they could could possibly come up with an acceptable harmoney. If you learn some show tunes, you might could play 'Vegas.

Oh well, what the hell; it's a slow day.... Present your (sigh) reasons and evidence that slepticism of any sort might be considered a cult.

Still going after the “old skepticism?” If you have started this thread without the intention of defining the "new skepticism" first, this thread will be locked before the sun goes down in California.

In order to point out the flaws of skepticism, which there may be, it seems to me that it would be necessary to define your stated but yet to be defined alternative. You will make no headway at SFN in your campaign for further your cause until you first finish what you have started.

I will close every thread you open until you define “The New Skepticism.”

If you can't hang with that, feel free to move on…

Just thought I'd copy this from the Uri thread, so it might get through to Latinijral. Just thought I'd add my own language too.

What is the 'new skepticism' and what qualifies you to be it's father?

Was ist "die neue Skepsis", und was qualifiziert Sie, sein Vater zu sein?

O que é "novo ceticismo", e o que o qualifica como pai?

Vad är "den nya skepticismen", och vad kvalificerar dig till att vara dess fader?

Wat is het "nieuwe skepticisme" en wat kwalificeert jouw als de vader ervan?

Would you mind saying what those are instead of making a broad general statement with out any evidence to back it up?

I seem to remember a quote from another post:

Why continue? Because we must. Because we have the call. Because it is nobler to fight for rationality without winning than to give up in the face of continued defeats. Because whatever true progress humanity makes is through the rationality of the occasional individual and because any one individual we may win for the cause may do more for humanity than a hundred thousand who hug their superstitions to their breast.
