I've been missing a few days - I'm in the middle of my busiest time of year in Asia, and imagine my surprise to find out the "Truth" is devouring itself!
It may be impossible to read through the threads over there, but if you want to lurk at JREF there are a number of threads already on the topic. (LC also deletes the nastier catfights fairly quickly, but the JREF board has lots of cut-n-paste for your entertainment enjoyment.)
Brief Synopsis: Evidently Russell threatened to expose someone's hush-hush secret identity, one of the mods banned him and then Lord Avery hisself came back and unbanned him.
The mods are all quitting. The peanut gallery is in an uproar. The board is imploding, the revolution is cannibalizing itself, and it all seems to be Captain John Doe X's fault. They are posting hate mail about Dylan, Russell, John DoeX, each other, Mamie Eisenhower, Colonel Mustar, yo' mama, and just about anyone else they can think of. This is just about the must fun you can have without getting horizontal with a member of the opposite sex!

Okay, you're talking about a donnybrook at Loose Change itself, not at JREF's forums, right? I'd hate to see that kind of thing happen at JREF. Wouldn't be too funny, not at all, at all. But at Loose Change, I guess that just goes with the paranoid territory and population.
And welcome to SFN, Master Yoda! Here we are delighted to tear each other apart five times each day before each dinner. And that's just for warm-ups.

It's Loose Change. Dylan Avery (for the uninitiated) is the "director who couldn't get into film school director" of that bit of foul wind, and owner of the board. The names I mentioned are his stalwarts (or were his stalwarts until Sunday, at any rate).
If you're not directly familiar with them, it's like watching a Cricket game with no one to tell the rules, but if anyone here has ever dealt with them, it's a sheer pleasure to watch.
(No - the JREF squabble as much as you guys do... but this is a downright palace revolution at Loose Change!)
ETA: Thanx for the welcome. I just located the "Welcome Newbie" thread and posted a little more background.

Sorry, Loose Change Forum was taken off-line! (not sorry at all)
No insider dope as to whether Dylan Avery did it himself, or if Invision did it....
Follow this JREF thread as a lurker (I'm in Shenzhen China and not sure how long I can play online as I'm supposed to be attending to a client).
