Oh, I see. I sent him a link to the story about a week or more ago, and he'd forgotten I was the source of the link, so sent it back to me because he thought it might appeal to me. He soon afterward realized his mistake, even though I tried to play along with it.

Thanks. Often, the idea of just doing what feels right is a lot more fun than being idealistic, at least in our fantasies. Most of us restrain our behavior in most cases, secretly wishing we could do as our impulses would have us. When Unholy Joe has enemies, he goes after them with everything he has, or can excrete. Mess with him enough, he'll hire himself some ninjas, then escape to Sweden. Atheists can be mean sumbitches, too.

Jack Shit is a barely competent hobbyist artist. He certainly does not deserve a professional status; especially considering for how long he had been at it. One would expect that he would have learned a few tricks by then and actually showed even the hint of a potential for improvement.
Heck; if you look at non-professional webcomics, you can see that these amateurs artists grow more in 2 years than this clown in 20 doing it full time.
But really, depressing as his 'art' can be; his writing is so much more abismal and really HM's version is much better than the original.
As for the current piece of shit... WTF?
First of all... When did the English fucking betray the Jews? Has the retard ever even heard about fuckin' James Balfour?
And the muslims hostility toward Jews was in reaction for the creation of Israel; it's retarded to put it during WWII.
And what about the UN fucking hating the Jews? I get it; Jack Shit bought into the American far right hatred for the institution but still, no country have ever defied the UN as much as Israel did (429 times) and yet, the UN has yet to take any practical steps against Israel. That's a fairly conciliatory hatred I'd say.
And frankly; God is fuckin' picky all the sudden. He did not put so much of a fuss either times when Israel was split between Judea and Galilea. Or when the Romans razed the country and his temple...
I already knew the Jack Shit was a delusional self-righteous lying buffoon full of pride and hate. But now he is openly campaigning AGAINST peace in the middle-East; probably hoping for an all out war to hasten his dream of rapture. Fucking maniac.

Yes, Jack is stubbornly delusional, a bigot (in many, even unexpected, ways), a craven coward who has his little Chinese wife answer his door because he thinks Jesuit assassins are gunning for him, a crude artist, a liar, and no kind of scholar at all.
Yet I feel there is a raw strength, even a genius, in his art. There's usually a clever use of propaganda techniques in his tracts. The Religious Right is based upon willfully ignorant and/or stupid people, and Jack gets across to them at least as well as Lush Limpbone.
Stunningly, Jack Chick is the world's (and history's) most widely published "author" ever. His tracts are way more popular than the stuff attributed to that "God" guy. It's hard to pin down exactly of what his genius consists, but there's got to be something that he's doing that's technically superb.

I rather suspect that a pretty fair percentage of his popularity is composed of those who read him just for the chuckles & snorts. His are the only religious tracts that I will accept, at any rate; the rest are sanctimonious slop that they can keep, and Dog bless 'em.
Curiously, I find Chick Tracts sort of anti-Christian. This is possibly due to his characterizations, which are predictable and, since the demise of 'Bob,' who looked like a '50's skin-flick actor (what home movies has Jacky been watching all these years?), pretty lame. They simply are not believable except to the already hopelessly indoctrinated. And there is the matter of the Catholic/Protestant schism which can and has gotten nasty on both sides. He loves to flog the Papists.
The rightly famous Big Daddy is a prime example, where a fundie student (double-dipped Baptist, one must assume) is calm and as rational as such a person can be, and the professor is an easily rattled idiot who sweats a lot, knows little of his subject, and is prone to hysterics. In the real world, quite the opposite is the norm, as all but the afore-mentioned brain-mutilated know, even if they've experienced it.
Bill, if you were to make even a brief study of Africa, you would readily see that vicious religions, among other superstitions, is the root of many of that country's continent's wretched social problems. A little atheism would do them some good as would a healthy dose of skepticism.
