After 48 chickens went missing in a month on a family farm in India, the owners suspected the predation of dogs. But the real culprit turned out to be the family calf, a sacred animal in India, which would sneak into the chicken coop at night and gobble down whole chickens in seconds flat.

Seems to me that Indian cattle have been pampered too long by the vegetarian Hindus. Now they are starting to show their thanks by becoming meat-eaters themselves. Next, they'll turn on humanity, the other white meat.

In an issue of The Tick, a man on a subway once says, "I've seen that look in a cow's eyes before... that cow has tasted human blood!" (Or words to that effect, it's been years.) He was, indeed, looking at the Man-Eating Cow (who was riding the subway, too), a minor superheroine only even seen to eat violent criminals (but she could eat them really fast).
