I wouldn't call myself a "hard-ass", but I'm in. It says something for the age/size of your site that I could get "John" as a handle. Kewl.

I am a little bothered by people that claim to be investigators or impartial but seem to have already concluded there is something to find. A couple of simple examples: (emphasis mine)

I always want to see something, but scrutinizing everything down to the slightest detail is what I've learned to do.

As I havent had the proof yet I will say Im a sit on the fence being an paranormal investigator I must believe theres something paranormal there or I wouldnt be doing it.

I know these are only some membersopinions, and of course don't necessarily represent the group. To use a highly scientific term, the "feel" of the site indicates to me like it would attract/encourage this sort of stance, but naturally I'll do some more poking around before making a conclusive judgement. Hell, I'm bound to learn something.

John's just this guy, you know.

Personally I believe that the mind is like an untuned radio. At times with the right circumstances, a "station" can fade in or out. Some people have the ability to tune in on those "stations"and others don't or don't know how.

Yeah or stuff like this. I love how people just invent their own theories based on imagination and act like thats a perfectly fine thing to do.

What are you looking at? Haven't you ever seen a pink shirt before?

Well, against my better judgment, I'm in. I wonder if this one will be yet another to shitcan me when it gets hot & heavy...

At first glance, it looks to be kind of a neat, little forum. Quite tidy. I think it might be some fun.

Did anyone ever try to get into "Dr. Hulda Clark's" mailing list on yahoogroups? That was interesting. They tolerated no questions. A bunch of us tried when I belonged to the quackwatch mailing list. Wow.
