Well they did have the skateboarding pug. Which coincidentally was shown on the Colbert Report last night.

Funny JibJab, as usual. I sure miss the serious news media of the past. In fact, sometimes, I'm Mad as Hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore! |

I've been using my Netflix account to catch up on some old classics. IMO, many movies either don't hold up or show their age. Network, on the other hand, really impressed me. Great film.

YO: Jib Jab runs it directly through the heart of the problem. What Colbert and Stewart do on their shows, and the Soap Box Derby coverage (as if there is some on the air every day and every hour) aren't in vibration with what Jib Jab is saying. Moreover, what Colbert and Stewart do are way ahead of the network and the cable network "news." Lots of younger folks get their news from Comedy Central, because, generally, the other "news" is such a fucking joke.
I've passed this Jib Jab thing onto some of my friends' emails with the accompanying thought: "Funny how 'Network' is never seen on a network. I think I've seen it once on an edgy cable movie channel.
Paddy Chayefsky, who wrote "Network" as well as the script for a film called, "The Hospital," which starred George C. Scott, was way ahead of the crap he was telegraphing that's coming into play in a major way today.
Welcome to television's Wonderful Wasteland, and be sure to NOT see "Network." It might wake somebody up! And besides, looking at Britany Spears pantyless crotch and finding out who knocked-up Anna Nicole Smith are so much more important to our daily lives.
Three Jeers for Jib Jab! Right on the money, dudes!
