This is from Rahoi.com:

space, plenty of space needed so that the photo doesn't appear on the front page. There. Just a tad more for good measure.

Can't be too careful!

Oh man, are these funny - and bring back many happy memories of my business trips to Japan, China and Korea in the 90's!

Five I recall that come to mind are:

A pet grooming shop in Osaka with the sign: "Animal Fondling"

An intersection traffic warning sign for drivers in Sapporo, Japan - in English:
"Have Many Accidents Here."

The translation back into English from Chinese of a Robin Williams movie titled "Hook" in front of a movie theater in Taipei:
"Busy American Executive's Neurotic Adventures"

At another time, another Robin Williams movie, "Patch Adams" at the same theater in Taipei:
"If You See Clown Doctor, You are going to die."

Ad at a Shinkansen station in Japan:
"Pepsi Loves You."

Due to my ignorance, i must admit that I had never heard about autunite before. This is what wikipedia has to say (emphasis added):

quote:
Autunite (hydrated calcium uranyl phosphate) with formula: Ca(UO2)2(PO4)2·10-12H2O is a yellow - greenish fluorescent mineral with a hardness of 2 - 2½. Autunite crystallizes in the tetragonal system and often occurs as tabular square crystals. Due to the high uranium content it is radioactive and also used as uranium ore. If the mineral dries out, it converts to meta-autunite-I, which can turn into meta-autunite-II after heating. These two subsequent minerals are very rare in nature.

Rare, apart from in this food product that is.

Autunite in foods is thought to prevent death from old age. This thinking is correct.
