My dad is a journalist and has just started his own blog. It's called A Skeptical Eye: Commentary on the Future of Journalism and can be found here: http://skepticaleye.blogspot.com/

The articles posted so far are:
Google isn't the problem
If the Times can't make it, nobody can
Is this the future of local news?
Times launches seamless hypertext
"Missing Middle" misses

We're currently witnesses the rapid decline of paper newspapers and a technological revolution in public media. Good to be aware of this important, exciting, and potentially chaotic shift.

Also, NPR's On The Media did a good show on this topic called "New Hole" that originally aired in January. Here's the link: http://www.onthemedia.org/transcripts/2007/01/19/07

You Dad's article on the Chicago Tribune's new owner is right on the money concerning the latter's comments slamming Google, Marf. I'm keeping the link, thanks! You father writes intelligently, strongly and clearly. "Like father, like daughter," as I tell people when I try to bask in the success of my own daughter.

Good stuff!

I'm amused by "Times launches seamless hypertext," because nowhere in that entry does your dad say that it's done so on their web site. Sure, it's easy enough to infer, but a naive reader (and there are plenty to go around) might imagine that the print edition of the Times will give you definitions of words if you poke 'em twice.
