Only the Dog Breeders who thought those little yapping overly groomed and high strung toy poodles were a good idea. Or more generally, any dog with a tiny cranial capacity...

OT-

My mother had two of those little poodles once. They were anything but dumb. Their vocabulary (words they understood) was on par with German Shepherds and Collies, extremely observant, and they were visciously protective (if any pitbull had their attitude towards strangers in the yard, it would have to be put down). No way could anyone get into my mom's house without them giving an alarm.

My friend worked at an Animal Protective League for a summer and saw several severely deformed puppies, all dropped off by hobbyist dog breeders. One died a day after being dropped on, and the autopsy revealed that it had extra organs! And aside extreme genetic mistakes, certain breeds have certain health problems that are only magnified with further in-breeding (such as lung cancer in German Shepards and bad allergies in many breeds). If someone doesn't really know what they are doing and taking precausions to prevent such genetic disadvantages and diseases, dog breeding can become a form of cruelty to animals.

Also known as puppy mills; people who breed for profit alone without the least concern for the dogs.

I always try to convince family & friends to not breed house pets for that reason, but heh. Who ever listens.

Dave W.,right, no transcendence is real-no supernatural or paranorrmal.

Generally a qualified professional dog breeder loses money.

What a man believes upon grossly insufficient evidence is an index into his desires -- desires of which he himself is often unconscious. If a man is offered a fact which goes against his instincts, he will scrutinize it closely, and unless the evidence is overwhelming, he will refuse to believe it. If, on the other hand, he is offered something which affords a reason for acting in accordance to his instincts, he will accept it even on the slightest evidence. The origin of myths is explained in this way. - Bertrand Russell

I was just kidding, but I guess there are scumbag dogbreeders...particularly the dogfighters.
