It's a strawman because they couldn't test the 60-foot truss systems, which were the ones that pulled the outer columns in for both towers. There's no evidence that the 60-foot trusses would only have sagged three inches under the conditions in the building, which were not the conditions in the tests anyway. The inward bowing of the outer walls demonstrates sagging of much more than three inches. |
