I read about that, and was saddened. I had listed Ingmar Bergman's "Virgin Spring" here as one of my favorite films, though I could have as easily listed others of his.

How sad! One of my favourite directors he was. I specially liked "Wild Strawberries" and "The Rite"... and "Persona" as well.
