This is another example of how the Japanese often use English phases simply as design elements, with little or no concern for their meaning. This sweatshirt, from Wiki's "Engrish" article, is especially bizarre.

Japanese people like to wear English language T-Shirts, similar to how westerners like to wear or tattoo themselves with Chinese or Kanji script. I wonder how many people are walking around with nonsensical tattoos or T-shirts over here.

I once saw a guy with the chinese character for "And" tattood on his forearm. I have no idea whether this was intentional or not though....

Hell, I couldn't even manage a lambda, Liz. Maybe that "code" function marked by a "#" in the composition window would somehow work? If so, I don't understand it yet.
