It's nice to know where one is in space, even when one can't be where one would like to be in time.

| Actually, the "Are" in the elevator button photo implies a certain degree of here-and-nowness.
What really gripes me about the elevator button sign is how that observation collapses the wave function of all the other wonderful potential possibilities into the mundane present-here. I prefer to think that I might be on a secluded South Sea beach in 1962 with Marilyn Monroe. Spoil-sports.
