It's coming on for that time of year again. School starts soon and empty, young minds will be sent off to be filled with the wisdom of their culture, and their parents will indulge in hours of sweet peace and solitude unknown during the Summer.
But what exactly is the "wisdom of the culture?" How do we know that our children are being taught those things that we want them to learn? Are our values being passed on and reinforced by the By the school system, or are the schools only supporting an agenda of their own?
