Aside from literal interpretations of Genesis, and perhaps 9/11 conspiracy theories, we don't get a lot of "alternative history" stuff here at the SFN. There's a website called In the Hall of Ma'at that focuses on alternative histories and alternative archeology, and I find what they've got to offer fairly fascinating, and easily read by the interested layperson. I don't visit over there nearly as often as I should, and I expect many of our members here haven't heard of it at all.

I recommend "Grounding the Nasca Balloon," by Katherine Reece, as a good example of the interesting stuff to be found there.

Thanks for the link. I used to check the Hall of Ma'at site regularly. Then I crashed my system and had to start my bookmarks from scratch. I'd forgotten to look up that site ever since.
