If you don't want to come out of the closet, particularly if you are heterosexual in the first place, then it just makes sense not to identify yourself as gay in your Facebook profile.

Carl Bildt, Sweden's Foreign Minister, learned this the hard way, with help from his exasperated daughter:Bildt seems to have had difficulties setting up his account, particularly the part that specifies sexual orientation - his daughter has posted a message on his page asking: "Are you aware you have said you're interested in men?". By the time The Local saw the page, the error had been corrected.
