According to a sports memorabilia collector, a group of men, including OJ Simpson, took items from him, including the suit OJ wore in his murder trial. According to the collector, two of the men drew guns. So far, no arrests reported, or guns recovered. (CNN) -- The victim of an alleged armed robbery at a Las Vegas hotel says former NFL star O.J. Simpson was involved, but police are still investigating and no arrests have been made, a police spokesman said Friday.
A man who said he saw the incident told a reporter Simpson was taking back memorabilia that he said had been stolen from him, and no gun was used.
Capt. James Dillon said police received a call about 8 p.m. Thursday from someone who said various sports-related items had been taken from him, and identified one of the people involved as Simpson. Officers found the hall of fame running back at a hotel, and he was being questioned as a possible suspect, Dillon said. |

Recent O.J. during a call in TV show.
First caller asks the best question!

The other questions are also funny. |
What a man believes upon grossly insufficient evidence is an index into his desires -- desires of which he himself is often unconscious. If a man is offered a fact which goes against his instincts, he will scrutinize it closely, and unless the evidence is overwhelming, he will refuse to believe it. If, on the other hand, he is offered something which affords a reason for acting in accordance to his instincts, he will accept it even on the slightest evidence. The origin of myths is explained in this way. - Bertrand Russell |

Now, OJ has been arrested in the case, and will be charged with "six counts of robbery, assault, burglary and conspiracy," Walter Alexander of Las Vegas also was arrested. Two guns have been seized.

TMZ.com now has this voice recording of OJ's and his thugs' profane tirade during the alleged armed robbery. I think OJ sounds very much like someone who is capable of killing. Again.

I am not saying he's guilty (snicker, snicker), however if he is he sure did pick the wrong state to commit 6 felonies.... They have some kind of "consecutive sentence" law that rules out concurrent sentences.... |

Updated "OJ's 6" poster, with another suspect's face filled in, from mug shot:

And yet another update: "OJ's 5," as one suspect, Tom Scotto, has been eliminated because police believe he wasn't in the room:
BTW, I really think OJ has the delusion that he cannot be convicted. Michael McClinton, one of the alleged posse, told a neighbor before he fled into hiding, "That son of a bitch, I'm in trouble because of him." It now appears at least two of his posse will flip on Simpson.

Another of my obsessive updates, now that all but one of the suspects has been arrested. The latest is Michael McClinton, another "buddy" who is likely to flip against OJ:

A new adjustment. Thomas Riccio, the ex-con who led OJ to the hotel room where the alleged heist took place, and who secretly recorded the audio of the events, needed to be added. Plus, there is still at least one unidentified guy still at large, making once again a total of six individuals in the posse.

This might be the final poster image. Now it appears there were 7 men in OJ's clown crew. There's a quite interesting article that reconstructs the heist.

If OJ was "stealing back" his trial suit (and other stuff), how did he loose it in the first place? |

| Good questions. One story is that one of the guys who had worked for OJ took it, either with or without permission, to make up for unpaid wages.
The gang OJ put together seems to be made up of golfing buddies, ex-cons, and petty criminals, and their targets were other ex-cons and petty criminals.
