I found this out from the Respectful Insolence blog.
The reason LB/RB is shutting is because I cannot continue to allow my beautiful eldest girl to be exposed to the hatred and bullying she is recieving from John Best. John has seen fit to compare my beautiful child to a trained monkey because he didn't like the fact she was progressing. He has made numerous jokes at her expense on that theme. He has assumed her identity online. He has encouraged others to do the same.
Let me be clear. I do not care one iota what this cowardly idiot thinks of me. He can write whatever he wants. But he has involved my daughter. Not to reference her progression. Not to quote me. But to laugh at her and to put words in her seven year old mouth. |
"Orac" goes on to describe what a complete tool this John Best guy is. Nasty piece of work.
Pathetic that such assholery is able to shut people down like that.

| Thanks for posting. I wasn't aware that the controversy over vaccinations had become so extreme. Perhaps the passing of this blog will be seen as an act of "martyrdom" that will inspire increase interest and action toward its cause. |

Some people have the need to find a villain for bad things that happen. John Best seems to be one of those. Medical conspiracies and bla bla bla. Uncertainty has no place in his kind of mindset. Heads must roll.
And that has made him pathetic. Like Tim Bolen who defends Hulda Clark and a host of ridiculous medical claims, he has become bitter and mean spirited because his views are not accepted. He's the victim and he plays it to the hilt.
