On behalf of my fellow Illinoisans, I'd like to send on a big thank you and well done to you and your crew.

For everyone else, an Illinois resident fell ill on a cruise ship and had to have an emergency apendectomy. Helicopters from the USS Ronald Regan responded to the ship's distress call and was able to pick up the patient and transfer her to the USS Regan's sickbay where the operation was a success.
