$3,014,170,389,176,410 to be exact.
It appears that all the money in the world isnt enough for this guy, he only want 42 times the worldwide GDP. Makes the other 200 or so Billion dollar suits seem kinda reasonable.

According to the AP, one lawsuit seeks $3 quadrillion exactly, and the total for all 489,000 claims is $3,014,170,389,176,410 (an average of over six billion dollars per claim). There are 247 claims for over a billion each, so even without the outrageously insane claim, the average would be nearly 29 million bucks each (and the $14 trillion total is still larger than 2007's U.S. GDP). |

Hell, award it to him if it'll shut him up. At the rate the dollar is declining, he'd soon have $3,014,170,389,176,410 worth of squat anyway, and the rest of us can go to some form of the barter system -- which makes more sense, anyway. A fresh turnip will always be worth a fresh turnip's value and currency fluctuation will cease to exist.
Hey, this guy could be the answer to all of the worlds economic woes!

An amusing note from the article, a quadrillion pennies stacked up would reach Saturn. |
