You, Filthy, are probably the most tolerant regular poster here at SFN, a fact which I respect. If even you have run out of patience with a poster, that poster has problems.
Really, it had gotten to the point that all any of us could do is, 1) ignore tmac1238, 2) discuss his obvious mental condition, 3) futilely demand that he back up the few coherent claims he made, 4) trade insults with him, or 5) patronize him.
None of these approaches was doing any good, nor were particularly useful in a skeptical forum. It was time for him to go sit in the corner and cool off.

Dang! I'll miss the witty repartee, the clever bon mots, the utter insanity that was tmac1238. May he use his couple of fortnights in purgatory to get his meds right. |

I liked the Trading Insults. The down side was that I'm so much better at it that he, that it wasn't very sporting and only borderline interesting. I hope he uses at least a part of his time on the Group W Bench to whet his vituperative skills. I also hope that he gets his head together well enough that he won't need them.

I think it should be pointed out that tmac1238's suspension wasn't because of his crazy rants. After Dave issued warning number 3, tmac1238 purposely got himself suspended.
