Hi, I am looking for people to help beta test a new Skeptic Community Site and give some feedback.

The Site is http://skepticcorner.com

Any comments are appreciated.

Biggest improvement I can see that's needed is an easy-to-find and easy-to-read statement about the purpose of your site. The text on your logo is tiny and blurred together, as well as being perhaps too terse.

Yes, I agree with Dave, the text to the left of the chimp(?) in the logo is very hard to read.

The star next to the text in the button(?) [* Newest Links] dosen't seem right when Newest Links is active. If I press Highest Rated Links, or Best Hit Links, every think seems ok. The star icon only gets botched when I press Newest Links.
I use Internet Explorer 6 on a Swedish Win-XP sp2.
(It seems to render correctly in Firefix though)

The function that displays the number of visitors in the chat room is really neat.

Thanks, I am having the logo changed, after all Skeptic is spelled wrong in it! :)

The star Icon looks fine in Firefox, I will have to investigate with IE.

I plan to put a "Mission" Statement in the area where it says welcome right now.
