Okay, now I want this poster. I wonder how much trouble we would get in to by making this one a t-shirt..?

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.

Why not question something for a change?

Abbie Smith is a much more minor player than the others, and so her presence seems like a bit of gender tokenism.

Should probably have been Genie Scott, but Mooner's got a crush on Abbie.

Well, I don't think so. Just in the last year, Abbie's taken on and humiliated both Michael Behe and Bill Dembski, and remains in the cutting edge of the cultural war against the Creationists. She also shows a great ability to explain complex biological matters in popular language. And, even if she were a gender "token," she's also a token of youth, as an exemplar of the rising young scientists.

Hey! I've got a crush on Eugenie, too! But I thought of Abbie, first. And I really wanted to get Arnie into the picture.

Fine by me. I kept the original as a 1812 x 2086-pixel .psd file. SFN can use it for anything you like.

Mooner, this one is truly a masterpiece! You are going to qualify for a PhD in Photoshop soon!

Is this image capable of much magnification, pixel-wise? I would like to blow it up to get more detail on the faces and frame it!

Thank you, Bill, but this one was relatively easy. The biggest job was to find and mask out the faces of seven people (and one pit bull). I have already collected a pretty large library of images that include skeptics and woos alike.

Of course, getting workable facial angles sometimes takes some looking, and I need to adjust the hues to match the original image. After pasting the faces into the image, there is always a bit of trimming, too. And, amybe surprisingly, some faces need to be blurred a bit to match the original's focus, or else they would stand out like a healthy thumb next to four hammer-battered ones.

I always work in the highest convenient resolution that works for me, to assure that there are as few as possible "generational" degradations. Last, I have to reduce the image to a width of 640 pixels, which is about the largest size that SFN's formatting is compatible with.

But, yes, Bill, I saved a much larger version in Photoshop's native, lossless .psd format. It's 1812 x 2086. Tell me what format you would like, and I'll send it via email.

Here's a detail, at full resolution:
