This one's in a Florida hospital. People seeing this one are claiming it makes them stop worrying about their dying relatives.

Personally, if I believed this stuff at all, I would be extremely concerned that an omniscient being had been brought to tears by conditions in the hospital. I mean, what does He know? And why did he just vanish without healing people?

Sheesh, can't a deity get any privacy when he goes in for medical treatment any more? He's got that private room on the 7th floor, but when he goes down to the prayer garden...or, say, to the cafeteria for a piece of toast...people just hound the poor guy!

Don't they realize that proof of a supernatural Jesus would totally undermine their faith in supernatural Jesus?

I'm going to start a realestate business. I'll start small.... buy a little shop building next to (or accross the street from) a mall. Leave it empty for a couple months while I arrange for the nebulous images of jebus and mary to "appear". Then I'll cut down the trees that screen the building from a busy street and send a pic to the local news channel!

After it gets on the news, I'll sell the building.

Soon as I have enough to buy property in NYC, I'll buy something directly overlooking the ground zero monument and do the same thing. After I sell that one to the catholic church, its retirement time!

Well, I must remark that This one looks a bit more Mid-eastern than Scandinavian. A refreshing change.

I wonder how much it'll bring on Ebay.....

Sorry Star, but I speak only the truth. The whities have had the Big J long enough; let's give someone else a whack at him.

Here's some ideas:

In several other pictures of this apparition there is also a reflection of a color painting of Jesus holding a child in the background. Is this a religious hospital? If there's a bunch of religious pictures in that hall, this could also be a reflection from a glass covered painting onto the door.

How is this interfering with hospital care? Who isn't getting their pacemaker implant on schedule or their $500.00 aspirin because Jesus is causing people to block the hallway?

Nobody there ever notices that everyone present always sees the same still pictures on these sacred apparitions: same poses, same angle, usually blurry, in other words, like a single photograph. Funny how Jesus just doesn't appear differently to different people or on HDTV or in person, interrupting Pat Robertson or the Pope and saying, "Oh shut up!"

In a parallel universe is there a Jesus who is seeing my reflection in a door?

Anyway – next time, maybe this is how he should do it.

Diversity, independence, innovation and imagination are progressive concepts ultimately alien to the conservative mind.

As good an explanation as any, in a metaphysical sort of way, and a lot better, I'm sure, than what comes out of the believers.
