That was very funny. Although I am forced to say that the joke is not very compatible with the bible's idea of God as I know it, but I do know religious people who think of God that way.
Anyhow, I'm sure you all could care less about what I think, so just know that I am only posting a reply to this topic as an experiment to see what might be wrong with my computer. |

Are we talking about the same God that killed everyone on Earth except for Noah and his family? The same God that destroy Sodom? If so, I think that this God is quite in character.

I'm sorry, I was referring to the giant floating man in space that seems to be somewhat limited to a corporeal form, can be chased by police, and can possibly attempt suicide. (That was the humorous part, along with the spoofing of generic newspaper articles.) The wiping out of 3 billion people on the other hand is not something that I can say the bible's God would or wouldn't do. That's all I have to say though. Overanalyzing jokes takes the fun out of them. |
