The Palestinians and Arab countries do not oppose the Jews BECAUSE they are Jews, but because they have placed a country in Palestine, taken land from neighbouring countries, slaughtered civilians and refuse the Palestinians a right to their own country.
If the Arabs were opposed to the Jews BECAUSE they were Jews, there would a dark irony in the fact that Semitic covers both groups. But it is a poisonous mix of religion and politics at large in the area. NOT racism.
