http://www.museumofconceptualart.com/ible-bay.htmlquote: I've recently completed what is, to the best of my knowledge, the first complete translation of the Bible into Pig Latin. This is the 319th translation of the entire Bible; the New Testament has now been translated into 845 languages, and parts of the Bible have been rendered into 1629 tongues.
Naturally, there is an online sample of the "Enesis-gay" text: http://www.museumofconceptualart.com/ible-bay/enesis-gay.txt This will be a blessing to those who seek to evangelize 8th graders.

Those numbers seem awfully exact. And do you really want to tell me that nobody did this before?
I am very skeptical about the whole issue.

Hmm. I too, find this a bit of a strech. However, there are people in this world, a LOT of them, that are just eccentric enough to do exactly what the artical states.
Exactly what effect a Pig Latin bible might have on society is probably best left to the individual's imagination. But after all, it would make no less sense than current version(s).

Frankly, this is the version that I would proudly display on the mantelpiece. I hope Barnes & Noble sells it...
My kids still love me. |

That's strange. Genesis in Pig Latin makes exactly the same amount of sense that it does in English.

Absolutely no sense what-so-ever? At least in Pig Latin, it's a little funnier than before.
