I saw a show on discovery entitled seeing is believing,There was a fifteen year old muslim girl crying tears of glass .the glass looked to me like safety glass ,no sharp jagged edges ,still as a sceptic I know this is not possible? could she be hidding in her ,filling her eye socket with glass for some stigmatic attention?

Teller, of Penn and Teller does this same trick. He did it on Leno a few years back. Better than that he swallows thread and 100 needles and spits them up threaded.

It's an old side show stunt.

An even better trick is watching the evo scientist make a fish out of a single celled organism, then a monkey from the fish and finally a man from the monkey.

Nah, that is not magic. There is nothing magic about putting two and two together and coming up with four.

Magic is spells and and stuff. You know like 'abrakadabra' or 'hocuspocus' or 'fiat lux'.

And a better one yet is to produce an entire universe in 6 days.

Yeah, six days is a long time. I wonder why He didn't do it in one day.

You bring on a valid point there. Why would an ominpotent being need six days to create the universe and then would even have to rest for a day like it was exhausted?

But you should not question your God and accept that he works in mysterious ways.

If you wonder to much about the stuff in the bible you might come to the conclusion that the bible does not make sense and is full of contradictions and plotholes.

It would therefor be best if you just accept everything that is written in the bible word for word and stop thinking all together.

(hehehe) Because he didn't have his shit together and never has. And never will. Sad.

All: I had my first car accident today! Minor thing, but, MY FIRST YAY YAY YAY!

Hmmm, wish dad hadn't chosen to tease me by reciting hail marys...

I have a better trick - it's called "Make the fundies go away!". Ida Nobunaga was very good at the trick.....

Congrats. The first is always the hardest. For some reason, the Neil Diamond song, "Girl, you'll be a woman soon" is now playing in my head.

Am I the only one who actually pronouces them "Hell Mary's"?

Personally, I would've gone with "cancerous obscenity" or "scabbed blight", but it's your flame.

*Giggles*

"Am I the only one who actually pronouces them "Hell Mary's"?"

Nope. But he couldn't remember them. At least he didn't do the "Jesus, I accept you as my lord and personal savior" thing.

That would've been embarassing.

"Personally, I would've gone with "cancerous obscenity" or "scabbed blight", but it's your flame."

Thanks! I'll get to 'cancerous obscenity' soon. Depending on how long Kacey sticks around.

"Go Avs!"

PLAYOFFS! Yay!

Well there are only two types of things that people can claim are miricals well known magic tricks and things that happend by coincidence and are later decalared a miracle.

If you are looking for a miracle that is neither a puling-a-bunny-out-of-a-hat nor underwear-stains-looking-like-elvis you are going to look for a long time.

Btw. You could have avoided getting your topic hijacked if you had not posted it in the creation/evolution folder. A topic name a little bit less vague than 'religion' would have helped attrackting answers, too.

Rested like he was exhausted? wow, that's a stretch.
Anyway, to help explain the day of rest go read EXO 20:8-11. I think you'll be able to figure it out.

But you should not question your God and accept that he works in mysterious ways.

Who says?...you?

If you wonder to much about the stuff in the bible you might come to the conclusion that the bible does not make sense and is full of contradictions and plotholes.

I suppose that's a matter of opinion. I also understand your opinion is anti-bible so you won't really listen to the truth.

It would therefor be best if you just accept everything that is written in the bible word for word and stop thinking all together.

So, I shouldn't think about the effects the flood of Noah would have on the world?......I KNOW! your view is the ONLY way...right?
