Anyway, to help explain the day of rest go read EXO 20:8-11. I think you'll be able to figure it out."
Exodus 20:11 explains that God rested. Why would he rest if he was not tired?
"20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it."
Your omnipotent God gets tuckered out after a little planet making! Ha ha ha, some God you have. Cthulhu's waaaaaaaay cooler, and he dosen't damn people to hell or anything.

Let's review: Jesus is not God, but the Son of God. As the son of God, Jesus is God, but there is no mention of the aspect of God known as Jesus in Genesis. Therefore, Jesus did not create life, His father (God) did. Jesus was simply the Word made flesh, an attribute of God.
God rested on the seventh day. It's right there in black and white, Ex.20:11. Now, apparently your omnipotent God not only can't destroy chariots of iron (like I said, read the Bible), he has to rest after creating things.
Worshipping the Great Cthulhu is much more satisfying.

The male-oriented God of Abraham rested on the seventh day and blessed it. So, in effect he was condoning the creation of the couch potato. As we are created in His likeness, look what we have wrought in adoration of restfulness!
Bar-B-Q, beer, pretzels, chips, TV, videos, a whole city devoted exclusively to movie making, the Super Bowl. You get the idea. And God also created beaches, so we expanded on that concept with khalua, rum, beach umbrellas, skinny dipping, flashing, spring breaks, BABES! 
Don't 'cha see. We ARE created in the image of the OT God. We ARE following His commandment to keep the day of rest holy. Can your God(ess) do that?

or perhaps this verse about Jesus:

JOH 1:10 He was in the world, and though the world *WAS MADE* through him, the world did not recognize him.
don't forget:

Since the OT makes no mention of Jesus, or the Trinity, except in creatively interpreted prophesy, then we must assume that the NT is our only source for your assertion. According to Ryrie, "Good" was a designation reserved, in the absolute sense, for God. Jesus was reacting to being addressed thus by someone who had no awareness of his divine nature.
The seperation is a trumped up charge presnted by people who have no understanding of the verse.
