Future High School Science Text Book.
EVOLUTION OF THE SQUIRREL
Prior to the suburbanazation of the rural areas the squirrels had little to fear from crossing a road due to the occasional car that would pass by. As time slowly advanced, road usage continued to grow as people moved into and traveled through the area. This increase in traffic began to takes its toll and killed many squirrels as they scurried across the highways in search for food. As an automobile approached the squirrel would tend to change direction many times in the middle of the road running back and forth. This hesitation and increased road time on the part of the squirrel would lead to their early demise. Some of the squirrels would not change direction repeatably but instead run straight for the roads shoulder then into the woods. These squirrels tended to be naturally selected to survive and produced more offspring. Soon the squirrel population was on the rise again.
As time continued the squirrels learned to survive on the roads by evolving into a more flattened flounder shape. In this case the squirrels were mimicking a squirrel that had already been flattened by the wheels of automobiles. This new mutating survival tactic was due largely to the fact that drivers tend to swerve around already squashed squirrels. This current mutation presented a new advantage for the species. A flat shaped squirrel would have a higher survival rate giving it the ability to survive on the highway for longer periods of time.
One species of squirrel is evolving a fur that is reflective to light. During the early morning rush hours and just after dusk is when the squirrels are the most succeptable to becoming road kill. Fortunately the squirrels, that evolved from the red furred squirrels reflect the headlights of the automobiles thus increasing their chance for survival. Some scientist believe that the reflective squirrels looks like tail lights of another automobile to the motorist. This tail light mimic then tends to slow the driver down allowing the reflecting squirrel time to escape the path of the approaching automobile thus increasing their chance for survival.

It's more likely that all they'd do is just adapt their behaviour to be more careful crossing the road. The behavioural adaptation would be easier.

You can ask them questions in the feedback section and they'll give you the answer, as well as further reading references. They also have links explaining what evolution is, and how it generally works.
Oh, I forgot, if you're Karl Crawford, you've already been to TO, haven't you? From the attitude in your other posts, it seems that you're not interested in learning, but merely to goad and mock.
Well, I'm sure christ would approve. He sure made fun of a lot of people in the bible, and showed no-one any respect or politeness.

Your are so right Kacey evolution really does not makes sense now that you explained things to me. Hah, the idea that a species might evolve to adapt to different environment is stupid now that you have shown it to me in terms of flat squirrels.
Lets scrap all the biology textbooks that talk of evolution. Down with Mendel. Let's scrap genetics altogether. And while we are at it lets scrap all the other textbooks aswell. Geology is obviously a lie. Platetectonic causing earthquakes, how could we ever think of teaching our children such idiocy?. History especially those parts that contradict the events in the bible must be scraped as well. Thankfully they don't teach much about archeology in school anyway.
And then we will have to clean up the other science textbooks. Chemistry espescially organic chemistry will have to be rethought. The whole radiation stuff that those french came up with has to be wrong aswell, we know that radicarbon dating does not work afterall. And don't get me started about physics! Light from stars, that shown a million years ago, Hah don't make me lough. Obviously that Eistein guy did not know what he was talking about. The whole science of astronomy is as much a joke asmodern physics.
You now I just realised something if we scrap every text book that does not agree with the Bible we won't have much left. And if we use science we will just arrive at the same old conclusions that you have just shown us are wrong.
What are we going to teach the children instead? The Taliban had some idea of a religious education without evolutionists lies, but they just got bombed by the New World Order for it, so we can't ask them. Do you have any ideas how a good science textbook should look like?

Science agrees with the bible. The evo mistake is when they try to fit science into their biased models. It's kind of an interpretation problem.

Jesus is the Word, not God, nitwit. Jesus is not God, Jesus, as the son of God, is part of God. An attribute of God, not God himself.
God was the creator, He had to send His Son down to earth to redeem mankind for origional sin. DUH!

OK, (by the way, you said "another uncalled for attempt". Where was my first attempt?)
1.) When Jesus cursed the fig tree for not bearing fruit OUT OF SEASON. If he was as good as they say, he'd have MADE IT BLOOM instead of cursing it.-->he insulted their intelligence by railing at a tree that wasn't supposed to have figs on it yet! (a mild case, but still, he acted like a goof)
2.)Jesus had said that "all things are possible to them that believe" (Mark 9:23) but because of unbelief of others, Jesus was unable to perform miracles on occasion. (Matt 13:58, Mark 6:5)-->instead of admitting he was a fraud, he just blamed OTHER people!
3.) He said that who ever calls someone else a fool is in danger of hell fire, (Matt 5:22) but he himself called people fools other times (Matt 23:17, Luke 24:25)-->hypocrosy is, to me, a mockery of a person
4.)When the mother of a gentile kid asked Jesus to heal her daughter, Jesus ignored her at first, implied she was a dog, and didn't heal the kid until the mother admitted she was a dog, but even dogs get some table scraps. She had to demean herself before Jesus would help. Imagine a medical doctor treating a patient's mother like that. He'd be brought up before the ethics board! (Matt 15:21-28)
4.)At least some times when Jesus spoke to his mother in the bible, he addressed her as "woman". John 2:4, John 19:26-->for instance at the wedding where she asked him to help out. (he later relented and turned water into wine, BUT just imagine saying to your mother: "Woman, what am I to do with you?") If you don't think that's not showing disrespect, Kacey, try saying that to your own mother sometime!!
5.) Once, when someone asked if he could attend his father's funeral before going with Jesus, Jesus said: "Let the (it's assumed he meant "spiritually dead") dead bury the dead" --> or (let the dead bury their own dead), depending on bible version
used. Let's face it, any employer who so callously dismisses the funeral of any employee's family member would be considered really rude.
6.) Jesus lied when he said: "I have spoken openly to the world; I have ALWAYS taught in the synagogues and in the temple, where all Jews come together; I NEVER spoke secretly" (John 18:20) This is in direct contradiction, however, to what we find elsewhere. Not only did Jesus teach in places other than synagogues and the temple, but HE HIMSELF SPECIFICALLY INDICATED THAT HIS TEACHINGS WERE NOT ALWAYS OPEN, BUT WERE SOMETIMES INTENDED TO BE SECRET!
He taught on the "mount" (5:1-7:28), by the sea (Matthew 13:1), on the plain (Luke 6:17-49), and in other places. To his disciples he said: "To you has been given the SECRET of the kingdom of God, but for those outside everything is in parables; so THAT THEY MAY INDEED SEE BUT NOT PERCEIVE, AND INDEED HEAR BUT NOT UNDERSTAND: LEST THEY SHOULD TURN ABOUT AND BE FORGIVEN" (Mark 4:11-12).--> this counts only if you consider lying to be a mockery.
