A friend sent this to me and I wondered if anyone had any comments.

Yes I have to agree with the author. It is extremly unfair of scientist, skeptics, non-belivers and people who disagre with your pet claim to do so.
They talk arrogantly and condesingly in terms that you can't understand. They fail to recognize things that you consider to be irrefutable proof as evidence. They use annoying tools like "Occam's Razor" and employ logic. Every scientific theory they use supports their standpoint and whenever you try to use science it suddenly does not count.
They are so mean. Why can't they just accept that extraterrestials have been visiting us, when I have the proof right here. How can they deny my clear evidence.
If I had any evidence, that is. I mean I could have evidence. It is the priciple of the thing. Just because I can't prove my stupid theory, does not give them the right to call it a stupid unproven theory.

Well put. I guess there are too often too many fallacies to cut through that it can be easy to get discouraged. People don't seem to like reality very much.
This is somewhat unrelated, but I just read in the local paper that one non-denominational church (in a town of about 50,000) is becoming popular, so they're building a new church. Estimated cost is about ten million bucks. This is just one church in one town in one country.
Some people hate reality.
