A visit to a 'root doctor' (spiritual adviser) and a call to the Miss Cleo Hotline lead a drug dealer to kill the wrong man in retribution for stolen drug money.

I really liked this part:
quote:

Some in the courtroom snickered as Smith also told jurors Isom had Wilson [...] call the Miss Cleo hot line.

and:

quote:

[Miss Cleo's attorney William J.]Cone stressed he could not verify that those involved in the murder case called the national Miss Cleo hot line. Even if they did, he said it does not mean they talked to Miss Cleo herself or, he said, to an actual psychic.

"It appears from the information I've gained in this case that there were people who said they were psychic and they weren't. We are finding out a lot are not," Cone said.

I think, that this is an understatement since there actually are no genuine psychics.

The wheels on the law grinding slow and exceding fine, or Evolution in action?

Hard to decide, but methinks it's survival of the least stupid.

Evolution is a bankrupt speculative philosophy, not a scientific fact. Only a spiritually bankrupt society could ever believe it.... Only atheists could accept this Satanic theory.
