I wonder if there is still a Bull Moose Party?

I propose the "Deadly Serious Party"

If anyone asks your policies on say, taxation, you can just reply..."well, we are deadly serious about it!!!"

And how is it that church & state remain separate if the generic term God is used but not Jesus? Now we are getting silly.

What's worse is that this is the most blatantly disingenuous argument that keeps getting repeated by the pro-Christiantity-in-government crowd.

They (and we) know full well that "God" refers to the Judeo-Christian YahooWahoo (or Yahweh, if you prefer), both in the "under God" phrase in the Pledge, to which deity Bush is referring when he says "I believe that it points up the fact
that we need common sense judges who understand that our rights were derived
from God."

News flash, Ogami. Bush doesn't believe in any other gods. Of course he is referring to YahooWahoo!

(By the way Slater, I think it was you whom I have never thanked for posting that YHWH could have very well been "YahooWahoo" since they didn't use vowels, and that Yahweh was just a guess. I find that absolutely hilarious, and now always refer to Jehovah as YahooWahoo. So thanks! )
