I'm sure we've all seen lists of ridiculous laws from around the world. Lotsa fun.

This, on the other hand, is pretty sick stuff;

Bailey's second law; There is no relationship between the three virtues of intelligence, education, and wisdom.

In Delaware, it is against the law to tickle women. No kidding, it's still on thier books. It may only be on Sundays it's forbidden, I forget.

A doozy! Makes you wonder what those ancient camel-herder/prophets were smoking.

Here's more secular list of idiotcy:

For the dumb laws of secular America, consider a cute contribution by two Georgia high school students to the marketplace of ideas. Jeff Koon and Andy Powell, in their compilation of 101 dumb laws, You May Not Tie an Alligator to a Fire Hydrant, share with us some of America's dumbest.

Learn where you can and can't sell rabbits that have been painted a different color, kill a "proud bitch that is running at large" (no kidding, this is a state law!), or assault anyone who says nasty things to you.

Also, for dumb laws of a religious flavor, try out one of two featured items on our booklist: one by an irate fellow who likes to zap people dead for coitus interruptus (don't worry, you can ward him off with an iron chariot), entitled the Torah, supplemented by the delightfully confusing Talmud. Or, if Judaism isn't your thing, be sure to check out the barbaric, incoherent works of a hallucinating, warlike prophet named Muhammad. His book, the Qur'an, has inspired countless acts of violence and extremely bad fashion, along with its predecessor the Torah. No legal library is complete without these two historical documents!
