Seemingly spurred on by anti-religious sentiment, the worm displays a message which reads "Religion is war!!" after it has deleted files and then tries to launch a denial of service attack against a number of religious websites.

Hackers and virus/worm authors are vermin, regardless of their motives.

I would much have rather there be a virus with the message "Repent!" or "Praise Jesus!" This virus is nothing but ammo for religious bigots. If it didn't launch a denial-of-service attack on religious websites, I'd think it carried a message opposite of its maker's aims. I am appalled that anyone creates virusses. The maker of this virus must find no meaning in life other than hate, something I'd think would be difficult without religious motives, but perhaps the maker is a member of some obscure, ideological group.
