Damn it! Some people just have to bash everything scientific. It's bad enough that this guy has to distort science to suit his religious puporses, at least that didn't hurt anyone. This bull shit could get people killed if enough people listen to these raves!
quote: In this book you will read the findings of medical doctors and researchers who tell us that vaccinations are not only unsafe, but they actually work against our God-given immune system. This book explains how this God-given natural immunity works, and how vaccinations can destroy this self-healing system. Book contains more than 120 pages of vital information.
Here's the book: http://www.drdino.com/cse.asp?pg=products&specific=jnrqemr8
Not only does he have this on his website, but he uses that lie in speeches to scare his audiences. See http://students.washington.edu/~ckthomps/lindahovind.html where Linda Sarfali who went to one of Hovind's lecture had this to say about what Hovind said:
quote: Overpopulation problem we hear about is non-existant. Overpopulation scare is of the devil. Also involved in this devilish scheme of convincing everyone the world is overpopulated: Jacques Cousteau, the Biodiversity Treaty, the United Nations, and Prince Philip. Satan is convincing everyone the world is overpopulated, and is in fact, using this scheme to depopulate the world.
Hovind says the world is not overpopulated, shows slides of desolate places in the United States, devoid of people. Overpopulation concerns are a conspiracy, masterminded by Satan, to depopulate the world.
The vaccination for hepatitis B is from Satan. Vaccinations are from Satan. Vaccinations can kill you. They are part of the depopulation conspiracy masterminded by Satan. I can feel the audience become frightened. These are Russians who have, as a country, experienced genocide under Stalin and much death from war and deprivation. They know what real depopulation is. I don't know why Hovind wants to scare these poor people. Also, I am very upset by his remarks about vaccinations, as vaccinations have saved millions of lives and prevented much suffering. I can feel my face flush with anger. I am also very angry at these people's pastor for inviting Hovind here. The pastor is supposed to be like a shepard to his flock, protecting and helping them. Instead, he has given them over to a wolf: Hovind.
This is apparently not the only time Hovind has pushed quackery. He has on his site a book called "World Without Cancer" where quote: The whole story of how cancer works and the politics behind preventing its cure. This book will give a totally new perspective on how to prevent and cure major diseases. 368 pages

See http://hometown.aol.com/ibss3/hovind.html for more claims Hovind made about Cancer. (see the top of the page)

I'm having totally inappropriate thoughts right now that include the words "Darwin Awards."

Anyone taking medical advice from Hovind deserves a "Honorable Mention" at least.
Unfortunately his lunacy will probably hurt the poor kids of the morons.

And how much do you want to bet that Hovind, in his hypocrisy, has immunizations himself? People like him belong in a padded room!
