I honestly thought that I wouldn't have to start a new topic for this one, but the search didn't return any "wwjd"'s so I had no choice.
Anyway, see: http://www.angryflower.com/wwjd.gif for an example of how useful that philosophy can really be.

I think that the WWJD philisophy can be very helpful to get one through life. What would Jesus do? He would start a cult. There is big money in starting your own religion even today. I mean all you need is a bit of charisma and creativity and then you can tell your followers repackaged old philosphical concepts and claim that it is the ultimate truth. That ain't workin' that's the way you do it Money for nothin' and chicks for free.
Of course it can also has it downsides the bit about being trialed as a terroist and executed does not appeal to everyone. But I guess you have to use your own judgement on where you have to follow his path and where to better make your own way.

Personally, I don't think that jesus is a very good role model. Face it, the man never got laid and advocated self-castration. Ow!

There is considerable debate among the people, who believe that he really existed about his sexlife. So you could project your wildest fantasies on your rolemodel, if you wished. I also don't think that there is anything wrong with advocationg selfcastration to your followers, as long as it is a strictly do-as-I-say,-not-do-as-I-do kind of thing.

In light of jesus's squirrelly pronouncements on human sexuality, he must have been the world's oldest male virgin, or else a total hypocrite.
