Hey, maybe it could be a new topic: Which is the toughest game, (US) Football or Rugby? They're very simililarly violent, but we don't wear girlie pads!!!!!!! Anyhoos, both games are played by men with odd shaped balls! We actually toured in Boston about 12 years ago, we thought we were the daddy when we kicked butt in Rugby, but then we played a return match in football. Geeeeeese the pads didn't stop that much of the impact and they put 50 points on us!!! |

Can't stand watching football on TV (borrring) but used to play as a kid. Only good thing about it on TV is seeing the guys with their cute little butts in those tight uniforms. I don't know all the game rules, just liked running, hiking and trying to catch the guy with the ball and tackeling and butting into someone. |

Can't forget hockey. we don't want to leave any of those in the great white north out. Besides, minor league hockey has gotten pretty popular down around these parts. Our local team, the Louisiana Ice Gators in Lafayette are always on top of their division, and we have teams on Baton Rouge and New Orleans, too.
It's bigger than baseball. Unfortunately, I don't think many folks understand the rules. They just come to see a hard body check into the glass, and maybe some good high sticking, or maybe a good fight. It's great fun! |

Man, Snake, my wife would love you. You know, kindred spirits and all that. Hey, for once, I'm serious, too! |
