I'm not sure I follow. What exactly is supposed to be happening and what do the 13-year-old's shockingly precocious opinions have to do with how you feel? Is he/she that persuasive a debater?

Welcome to capitalism! Where competition ensures that nations either expand and grow economically, or get trampled. Without competiton, people get complacent and fall behind countries with more incentive. When economic freedom gets destroyed, political freedom will likely follow. If you dont like capitalism you could always join one of the loser....I mean other ideologies.
And why dont you just steal the kid's milk money instead of having a political debate with him? |

LOL. Good one, Fire. What I'd like to know is, Is, Iisaac a communist? Sounds like that 13 year old is very wise for the most part. Of course it's not all black and white but Fire brings of a good point. And if those 'poor' Asians are being exploited by not getting enough money, what if they got NO money because companies had too many regulations and didn't want to do business there? It's happened here in California and now the state is a shity place to live. Just tonight on the news they said Los Angeles is the murder capital of the country. Isn't that wonderful? At this point I'd like to ask, when someone says 'cheap workforce' what does that mean. Seems to me when I see those shows on TV they make it sound like the standard of living and wage should be equal to the US standard. They mention people getting fifty cents an hour as if that's so bad, just because in the US people make $10 an hour. Fifty cents goes a long way in some places. I don't see the need to get that hysterical about how people in other countries live. |
