I just came across this site. It strikes me as a classic example of pseudo science trying to pass itself off as the real thing.
Enjoy.

Well at least they got the myth behind the Yggdrasil Tree right.

The rest, well....

Thanks, Espritch! I needed a laugh!

I never would have known that "(t)he level or quality of science included in modern spiritualism depended upon each person's individual definition of science and personal worldview." Is it just me, or is this just a meaningless string of syllables cobbled together to sound nice?

And I never knew before now that phrenology was a precursor to psychology...I kinda thought that psychology's roots predated the 1800s.

You'll love the article (well, it's just an abstract of an upcoming paper) on the parapsychological effects of ORMUS materials, as well as the physical benefits of ingesting these rocks: "...(l)ess need for oxygen or increased blood oxygen capacity, (p)ain reduction, (i)ncreased mucous slipperiness (oh boy! I've been hoping for this for years!), (i)mproved joint mobility, (i)nsomnia recovery" and effects similar to "kundalini awakening."

I guess I'm just not credulous enough.

I hadn't read that article when I first mentioned the site. You're right. It was laugh out loud funny (not, I suspect, by intent)

Here's an actual real live honest to god quote from said article.

quote:

The key concept is what I call topological field quantization. Magnetic field in TGD decomposes into flux tubes parallel to the flux lines of field. These flux tubes are cylindrical surfaces with outer boundary. If one requires that there is no ordinary matter inside them one obtains hollow cylindrical flux tubes with opposite charged wormhole densities on the inner and outer surfaces of this cylindrical surface. Note that wormhole flux tubes involve always two spacetime sheets with opposite magnetic fluxes. Wormholes form a BE condensate and this topologically quantized magnetic field becomes quantum object of macroscopic size and a potential conscious being if TGD inspired theory of consciousness is correct!! [Various] people seem to speak about White Gold almost as a conscious being: they might be right!

Well. I guess that just about says it all. Yes sir. I'm sure glad they cleared that up. Course it's a good thing them wormhole thingys form a BE condensate or the whole theory might just fall apart!

Reminds me of the MEGO principle of writing. (My Eyes Glaze Over).
Someone take that fool's Thesaurus away! Someone is under the mistaken impression that big complicated words = big complicated meaning. What a load of claptrap! And why do these idiots try to squeeze the word "quantum" into their explanations? Do they even have a small hairy clue what the word means? I think they read the dust cover of "A Brief History Of Time", and now they're winging it.

They figure Deepak Chopra uses it all the time, so, it must be good.
Wendy Kaminer, in her book Sleeping With Extra-Terrestrials, really rips these New Agers apart for their misuse of "quantum".
