Thought I would share the text of my most recent submission to the Skeptic News (http://www.skepticnews.com):

"accredited by the Higher Education Coordinating Board of Washington State, which means that the degrees it awards are, by power of law, equal to those issued by the University of Washington."
The same article has some other good stuff on astrology and education including comments on professional astrologer Elizabeth Tessier's Sorbonne Ph.D thesis on astrology. Her passing grade has created a furor in France. The article also mentions the controversy that has erupted in India over a decision by that country's education authorities "to create astrology departments in 24 public universities in the next academic year."
Could B.S. stand for "Blessed by the State" with Ph.D meaning "Piled Higher and Deeper"?

Sorry about that. It has been submitted, but not approved and posted. Should be up by tomorrow or Tuesday. Skeptic News accepts most, but not all, submissions from SFN: A while back, they rejected one of mine that involved a story about dung falling from the sky in Utah.

Sounds to me like crappy weather!
On the other hand, non-Mormons may think that it rains s*** all the time in Utah, so the story could have been rejected as not newsworthy.
