I keep seeing these page errors in the reports. I can trace them back to the source but sadly 90% of the time they are in China and I somehow doubt reporting it would do much good. Still, it irritates me to see these attempts at cracking SFN.

I'm sure a few of you know what this means. Thank goodness our webhost plugged this up long, long ago.

Looks like someone is trying to get a dos prompt to me.
If they were able to run it then they might be able to do somethings you would rather them not.

Yes that's right, and trying to get to it by exploiting the old unicode bug
It seems like every week there is another security hole to plug

@ I know nothing about what that mean. Can you explain a bit? Want me to talk to Dennis, see if he has any contacts in China? I have some in laws who live in Hong Kong. Maybe they can help! Are we going to be bombed or something? Hope they wait until I move out of a major target area like Los Angeles.

Do you know hit men/women in China? But seriously, nothing can be done. The best defense is to diligently back everything up.

Looks like an NT server, they tend to have a lot of exploits avilable for them.

Yes, that's sad but true. This unicode bug is especially bad, though. It exposed every NT and Windows2000 server! We are talking millions of servers!! Yikes.

The biggest problem with NT security isn't the amount of problems.
Its the speed at which they get fixed (usually a couple of months).
