Good to laugh at.

Radioactive GM Crops.

Slightly above background.

Safe to eat.

But no activist would dare rip it out.

As they think it gives them cancer.

Just heard this guy on the radio for the 1st time.
Not skeptical in religion or really political but in a consumer way. Good tips and scams to watch out for.

Hmmm, I'm a member of VHMET and didn't even know it. Much to the dismay of Ed's stepmom, who thinks I should have had a passle of kids by now.
1) Don't really like them, they drive me nuts. Just because I have the equipment doesn't mean I have to have them. The chances of me being a good mother are approximately the same as my dog pulling out a slide rule and doing differencial equations.
2) Saw a film of childbirth while in high school sex-ed. Film shot showing "business end" of the procedure. Wow! That does not look like fun. If I feel like being in pain, I'll get yet another tattoo. I know I'll miss a lot of the experience, especially the screaming and sweating part, but I think I'll survive.

LOL! Well, try a c-section. Then you only have to recover from surgery. Just make sure the OR is sterile. (I wound up with an infection - yucky. Never let military doctors cut into you. Re-opening the incision they didn't even give me any pain killers let alone anesthesia. )

Too bad there aren't more wise people who understand that they don't have to have them to have a 'full life'.
It's no big deal to have them, in any sense of the thought. The only possible plus is if, and it's a BIG IF, you need financial or medical security later on if life. But good planning can replace having a child. The if is, not if you need the money but IF the child is still respecting and speaking to you by that time.
I can't stand crying messy pesky little monsters running around. When I hear a kid screaming in a store I yell...well maybe not too loudly, Put a sock in it!

Aye, same here. For me, the decision that my parents would be very lucky if they became grandparents happened at my first job. I was working as a Courtesy, bringing in carts and the like, when, one evening, I walk into the store and lo and behold there a a kid screaming it's head off in the produce section. I was like, "Shut the damn kid up or take it outside!" To myself, of course.

The way I see it, christians are godless too...they just don't know it yet.

Yes, one of those politicly correct, no, no's.
If we believe we have a right to free speech, we should say what we think (out loud, ha ha)then others who agree but were afraid to say so can then join the cause.

Gee, you all would have loved me. I dropped the cart - groceries and all at the courtesy desk and hauled the screaming kid outside. Didn't think she needed the public support she was looking for in throwing a tantrum and didn't think others really cared to hear it. I left a lot of groceries at the courtesy desk.

That's what I would have loved have seen happen way back when, but the (grand?)parents of the kid just stood there looking like idiots. I don't mind if your kid is screaming, just either take it outside or try to calm your kid down or both. Don't just let your kid stand/sit/lie there screaming its head off while you are shopping and pretending not to notice.

2 more good web sites:
This web site has some very important information, you can't live without.
http://www.sci.tamucc.edu/%7Epmichaud/toast/

Ok, trust me, seriously, this one really is helpful:
http://askme.com/

I'm on there as an expert on Thailand. Used to be on for photography, Buddhism and art but it took up too much time.
I've also asked questions on gardening and religion. Some very nice people on there. Chk it out!

Some of you might know about it but just in case, it tells you if something is a rumor or urban legend or not.
