Why does the Vatican, with all the power they own and all the riches they have, allows this soon-to-be war to go forward ? Could it be possible that some ulterior monetary motives are lagging behind it all ? Why is the pope so silent ? What's going on ?. Something is definitely happening between the sheets,and this time is not pedophilia.

I was going to post a couple of links about the Vatican's anti-war position, but I see Valiant Dancer has beaten me to it, with some good sites.
But I wonder why this has been ignored by the main-stream media? Perhaps that would be a worthy news story in itself.

Ok, Those links don't really mean anything,taking into account tha politics is involved in everything.You don't actually expect him to go to his balcony and disclose that Vatican $$$ has ties to arms dealers,weapons factories or the US war dept.,now do you?
The US Defense Dept has actually given multi million $$ reconstruction contracts to the very same people that are bombing the crap out of Iraq.
There's so much profit involved that I can't imagine the Vatican isn't involved.
The Pope can say lots of stuff, but if you read one of your links you wiil notice that other Vat. officials are more vocal than him about this mess we are in.So you tell me.

Not naive. Realistic. Money controls quite a lot. If it controlled it all, then Congress would have approved oil drilling in ANWR. The cash the Catholic church has is not debated. You still have provided zero proof.

Looks like standard-issue conspiracy-buff technique to me- pile up tons of accusations in the hope that:
A. Some of them will stick
